In big mountain terrain, leadership isn’t declared—it’s carved. For Lexi duPont, every descent is a manifesto. Her line choice—bold, fluid, and unmistakably hers—is more than technical mastery. It’s a philosophy. “Picking a line is a form of self-expression,” she says. “True leaders do it their own way—with confidence, dedication, and passion.” From peak to valley floor, duPont rides with intention, threading terrain into narrative. “I like to ride like water,” she adds. “Wherever the water would flow—that’s my line.”
From Athlete to Architect
Lexi’s career spans Freeskiing World Tour podiums, film segments, and global mentorship. But her most enduring impact may be the space she’s built for others. That shift—from athlete to architect—crystallized with the founding of Sister Summit, a rider-led platform she co-created with Hedvig Wessel to amplify the feminine frequency in snow sports.
“We were tired of being the only women in the room,” duPont says. “We needed to sit in the same room together.” What began as a gathering for professional athletes, guides, and creatives has grown into a multi-tiered mentorship ecosystem. Sister Summit now includes the original Amplified Summit, the Sister Summit Symposium, and the Sister Summit Circle—a fundraising initiative designed to sustain and expand the movement. At its core is a belief that collaboration is the new competition—and that when women gather with purpose, the impact reverberates far beyond the mountain.
“Mentorship is the next step in evolution,” duPont adds. “We transition from performance-based identity to experience-based identity.” Sister Summit isn’t just a platform—it’s a blueprint for cultural change.

Squeezing the Nectar
Legacy, for duPont, isn’t a highlight reel—it’s a way of being. “I hope women see my journey and think, ‘She’s really squeezing all the juicy nectar from life,’” she says. Curiosity is her compass. Evolution is her rhythm. “The desire to stay curious and discover what’s possible is a fire that burns inside me,” she adds. Her mother’s mantra—“anything is possible if you work hard”—still echoes through every turn.
The Shift She’s Rooting For
DuPont is clear-eyed about the future she wants. “I’d love to see equal opportunity for women,” she says. That means equal pay, equal representation, equal gear, and equal media exposure. She’s calling for maternity and paternity leave for athletes, equal prize money, and product lines that reflect the full spectrum of women who ride. Through Sister Summit’s research and advocacy, she’s pushing for systemic change—not just for herself, but for every woman who steps into the snow.

For Marli Jade
DuPont’s daughter, Marli Jade, is already part of this legacy. “If Marli chooses to follow in my footsteps, I hope the industry is ready to support her,” she says. That means seeing her athleticism before her appearance, her authenticity before her metrics, and her environmental stewardship as a contribution—not a footnote. “Don’t dim her light in any shape or form,” duPont says. It’s a call to action—and a blueprint for change.
Legacy in Motion
Lexi duPont’s journey reminds us that leadership in the mountains isn’t about dominance—it’s about expression, evolution, and impact. Her lines speak volumes, but it’s the spaces she’s carved for others that echo loudest. Through Sister Summit, through mentorship, and through every unapologetic turn, she’s building a future where women ride with equal opportunity, deeper connection, and full creative agency.
The legacy isn’t just hers—it’s ours to carry forward, one bold line at a time.
