Why We built it

Because women deserve a ski that matches how they actually ski.

After riding men’s skis for so long, you start to ask the obvious question: why don’t we deserve a better ski that’s actually designed for us? Not softened. Not detuned. Not “pink it and shrink it.” A real ski — built for how we ski, not how the industry assumes we ski.

 

Valkyrie exists because women who ski hard have been forced into two bad choices: a women’s ski that folds when you push it, or a men’s ski that never quite fits. We built a directional, all‑mountain charger that holds at speed, stays composed in chop, grips on firm snow, and responds instantly when you need it to.

And we built it with Praxis — a Tahoe ski builder with an industry reputation for bombproof construction, hand‑built quality, and a Freeride World Tour podium to prove it.
