The women's snow Calendar

 

 

The Women’s Ski Calendar is a curated list of women‑specific clinics, camps, trips, and community events. Every listing is vetted for coaching quality, instructor credentials, and real value.

Any program offering instruction, guiding, clinics, or lessons must meet industry‑standard credentials, including:

• PSIA/AASI

• IFMGA/IAMGA (where applicable)

• Equivalent certifications

We highlight programs led by women, for women — from confidence‑building progression clinics to advanced steep‑terrain coaching.

The goal is simple: help women find the right program at the right level, with the right coaches, at the right time in their season.

The Guides

The She‑Shredz Guides give women a construction‑forward, unbiased look at skis, boots, and gear. Our approach is grounded in biomechanics, stance, leverage, and real on‑snow performance.

Most mass‑market gear guides dedicate 8% or less of their content to women — usually as an afterthought. Women are left digging through pages of men’s gear just to find a single “women’s section.”

We take care of that.

What Is the Valkyrie?

 

The Valkyrie was built for women who ski consequential terrain — anywhere in the world — and are tired of being forced into men’s skis because the women’s category doesn’t support how they actually ski.

Across resorts, backcountry zones, and big‑mountain lines worldwide, the same pattern kept showing up:

Women who ski fast, ski strong, and ski technical terrain were choosing men’s or unisex skis because the women’s options weren’t built for them. The women’s category was dominated by:

• Softer flexes

• Lighter cores

• “Playful” marketing

• Pink‑it‑and‑shrink‑it

• Women’s skis are treated as a secondary thought

She‑Shredz and a global community of women who ski hard defined what the ski needed to do:

Where Is the Valkyrie Made?

 

The Valkyrie is hand‑built in Incline Village, Tahoe, by Praxis Skis. Every pair is pressed, finished, and quality‑checked in their Tahoe shop — not outsourced overseas and not mass‑produced.

Small‑batch manufacturing means:
