EXPERIENCE~ Donna Weinbrecht’s Women’s Camp: Where Mogul Legends Teach the Next Generation

On a crisp Feburary morning at Killington, skis clatter against racks and women gather at the base lodge, waiting for a coach who knows moguls better than anyone alive. Donna Weinbrecht — the 1992 Olympic gold medalist in moguls, five‑time World Cup season champion, and winner of 46 World Cup events — strides in with the same energy that once carried her down Squaw Valley’s North Bowl and onto the U.S. Ski Team.

She was first taught to ski by her Canadian neighbor, but her career was built on grit: carving out a place for women in a sport that often overlooked them, and fundraising with Picabo Street and the Powder Girls to keep the U.S. Ski Team afloat. Inducted into the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame in 2004, Weinbrecht remains one of the most respected voices in skiing.

Today, she channels that same drive into her Killington Women’s Camp — a two‑day program that blends technical coaching with community, giving women the chance to ski moguls with the original champion herself.

What You’ll Do with Donna

This isn’t a lecture. It’s two days of skiing hard, learning fast, and connecting with women who share your drive.

  • Ski moguls in small groups led by Donna herself

  • Get filmed runs with playback and her direct critique

  • Hear her gear advice: skis around 80 mm underfoot for agility

  • Share lunch included each day, with time to connect off the hill

  • Leave with sharper turns and a stronger network of women who ski

Why It Works

Most camps promise coaching. This one delivers Donna Weinbrecht — the skier who defined moguls — teaching you how to find rhythm, control, and confidence in terrain that intimidates most. By the end of camp, women talk less about medals and more about the bond: skiing hard together, laughing between runs, and realizing that progression feels better when it’s shared.

The Details

Donna Weinbrecht’s Killington Women’s Camp isn’t nostalgia. It’s a working clinic led by the sport’s original mogul champion, built on the same determination that carried her through Olympic gold and the grassroots fundraising of the Powder Girls. For women who want to ski harder, learn faster, and connect deeper, this camp is the place to do it.
